Are your instructors full time or part time?

While most of our instructors are full time, we employ both full time and part time instructors. When helping you choose an instructor, we will assure that your chosen Instructor has availability matching yours.

What kind of aircraft do you have?

We proudly fly a fleet consisting of mostly Cessna aircraft. Our primary trainer, the Cessna 172, has been teaching the world to fly since its debut in the 1950s and remains a popular, safe, and efficient training aircraft.

What Training Curriculum do you use?

We use the Cessna Flight Training program created by Cessna and King Schools. The program includes a home study course, test preparation materials, and a progress tracking application used by both students and instructors to make sure all requirements of the course are met.

How do I schedule lessons?

Once enrolled, you will have 24/7 access to our online scheduling system. You may also call us for assistance with any scheduling needs you may have.

HOW often should I train?

We recommend starting with at least two lessons per week. This pace ensures that you have time to absorb the information without getting overwhelmed, while preventing you from having to repeat training due to lack of retention between lessons.

How long is a typical lesson?

Each lesson is typically scheduled for two hours. During that time, you will brief your lesson with your instructor, fly the lesson, and debrief discussing your strengths and weakness and what to prepare for on the next lesson. Lessons occasionally require longer flights, in which case your instructor will let you know how much time to schedule.

Will I fly during every lesson?

While you will fly most of the time, there are instances where you may stay on the ground. For example, if there is bad weather you would typically switch to a simulator based lesson, or cover study material with your instructor. You should resist the urge to cancel a lesson simply because the weather isn’t cooperating as simulator sessions, and other ground based lessons, are critical to completing your training.
